Nestled in the ancient woodland of Thorpe Woodlands, Escape Pods offers group stays with a difference — your own private glade, your own pods, and your own slice of forest. No strangers. No shared spaces with people you don't know. Just your group and the trees.

Whether you're a Scout group looking for adventure, a youth organisation seeking somewhere special, or a large group of friends wanting to escape together, we have two beautiful glades ready for you.

🌿 A note on exclusive use

When you book a glade, that glade is entirely yours — your pods, your log cabin, your campfire area. Thorpe Woodlands is also an activity centre, so there may be other visitors elsewhere on the wider site, but your glade is completely private and exclusively for your group. Book both glades together and the entire pod village is yours for up to 87 guests.

Escape Pods is part of Thorpe Woodlands Adventure Centre — one of Norfolk's leading outdoor activity providers. Groups staying with us may be able to book activities to enjoy during their stay, making your woodland escape even more memorable.

Activities are subject to availability and must be booked in advance — we cannot guarantee availability, so please let us know as early as possible if you'd like to add activities to your stay. Mention it when you make your initial enquiry and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Escape Pods sits within a tranquil, mature woodland setting — and we work hard to keep it that way. Our glades are a genuine retreat: quiet, natural, and restorative. We ask all our guests to respect that spirit.

We warmly welcome school groups, youth organisations, Scout and Guide groups, family gatherings, and friends looking for a proper woodland escape. We're not the right fit for everyone — and that's something we're proud of.
